Grilled skewers you can mix and match, and shawarma trays that serve 10–12 (small) or 20–22 (large). Here is how many to order and which sauces to add.

Catering tray of grilled chicken kabob skewers

Kabobs and shawarma are the two mains most groups build an order around. Kabobs are grilled to order on skewers; shawarma is marinated meat slow-roasted and sliced thin. Both go over rice or into bread, and both are better with a sauce on the side.

Kabob skewers

Kabobs are sold by the skewer, and you can mix and match kinds in one order. The menu sets a 10-skewer minimum per order. Current prices per skewer:

SkewerPrice
Chicken$7 each
Kafta (seasoned ground beef)$7 each
Vegetable$7 each
Beef$10 each
Lamb$10 each
Shrimp$10 each
Salmon$10 each

Beef and lamb skewers can be ordered at the doneness you choose, from rare to well done. For a mixed crowd, medium or medium-well is the safe middle.

Sauces, rice and bread

Sauces, rice and bread are separate items on the catering menu, so you choose exactly what and how much your group needs. Sauces are sold in 16 oz containers, about two cups each:

Plan roughly one container of each sauce you choose per small tray of meat. Rice comes by the tray ($35 small / $50 large) and tandoori bread by the dozen ($16 a dozen): one piece of bread per guest, two if you are not serving rice.
