Getting your order to Culpeper

Culpeper is about 38 miles from our kitchen at 9901 Southpoint Parkway, roughly 57 minutes' drive in light traffic. The usual way is I-95 to Exit 130 and then Route 3 west through Locust Grove all the way into town. That is a long ride for hot food, so we suggest trays that travel well.

Orders need to be placed and confirmed at least 24 hours ahead, and pickup starts at our 11 am opening. If someone in your group works in Fredericksburg or Spotsylvania, they can collect the order on the way home. Culpeper is inside our delivery area (50 miles from the restaurant), near its outer edge, so we can also bring the order to you. Delivery is $10 for addresses within 20 miles of the restaurant, $20 for 20 to 40 miles and $30 for 40 to 50 miles.

For a showpiece, add one of the lamb specialties. Both come as a large tray only.

Timing a long-distance order

Work backward from when you want to eat. If we are delivering, tell us your serving time and we will plan the departure around it. If you are picking up, add the hour on the road, plus a cushion for Route 3 traffic through Central Park and Locust Grove, and pick a pickup time that leaves room to set the trays out before guests arrive. For a dinner, an early-afternoon pickup is usually more relaxed than a rush at five.
