Getting your order out Route 3

King George Courthouse is about 23 miles from our kitchen, roughly 36 minutes' drive in light traffic: north to Fredericksburg, then east on Route 3 across the Rappahannock and out through King George. Dahlgren is farther on, about 34 miles and roughly 55 minutes, toward US-301 and the Potomac.

Both are inside our delivery area (50 miles from the restaurant), Dahlgren toward its far edge. Delivery is $10 for addresses within 20 miles of the restaurant, $20 for 20 to 40 miles and $30 for 40 to 50 miles. Pickup at 9901 Southpoint Parkway is also available from 11 am. Either way, give us at least 24 hours' notice.

A long meeting needs a lunch that feels like a real meal. For 25 people, pair chicken and gyro so there is a choice, add rice and a salad, and finish with baklava.

Grilled skewers make the order feel more special. Salmon and shrimp are on the kabob menu alongside chicken, beef, lamb, kafta and vegetable, priced per skewer ($10 each for salmon); a kabob minimum applies.

Many contractor offices sit outside the base. If your meeting is inside the gate, our driver will meet you at the visitor center unless you have arranged something else with our staff in advance.

Order early for the drive

Since a King George or Dahlgren order travels farther, send the details as early as you can: the address, the building or room, the time you want to eat and a contact who will be there. Those four things answer most of our questions in one go. An order placed more than 48 hours out starts as a quote: we look it over, call you to fine-tune it, and only then charge your card.
